I learned something new this weekend. Adam taught me how to rollerblade out at Piedmont Park. Granted, I wasn't spectacular, but for someone who could barely rollerskate, I thought I did ok. I didn't fall, which was the important thing to me!
Adam's still on the job hunt, so please continue to keep us in your prayers.
God has given us more opportunities to connect with our neighbors recently, which has been great, but not always easy or convenient. When I read the gospels, I'm amazed at Jesus' availability for people in need. I hope I can follow His footsteps and be available when people are in need. It seems like God has put several ladies in my path over the past couple of weeks who are obviously in need of a friend. My prayer is that I will be the kind of friend to them that Jesus would be.
