Monthly Update

I guess it's time for my monthly update!

Last night Adam and some of my friends threw a surprise birthday party for me. My friends were all at Macaroni Grill when Adam and I got there for dinner. I had no idea about it until a few hours beforehand when I started to think something might be up. It was a lot of fun. And they gave me a cake from Coldstone Creamery! Mmm! Yummy! I can't believe I'm going to be 30! That's so weird!

Thursday night was the last night for Adam and me to do Awakening. We are both ready to move on and it looks like it probably won't last much longer. It's actually quite a relief because that will free up quite a bit of our time.

The wedding is now just 3 months away! I'm excited, but trying not to get nervous or overwhelmed with all there still is to do. I think we're actually doing pretty well though.

Adam is getting ready to go on a mission trip to South Africa. He'll be gone for 13 days and he leaves in about two and a half weeks. I'm excited for him, but I know I'm going to really miss him. This will be the longest we've gone without seeing each other since we started dating.

I think that pretty much sums things up for now. Maybe I'll post something while Adam is in South Africa.
