I'm Engaged!

On New Years Eve, Adam proposed to me and (of course) I said yes! I was very surprised, but definitely in a good way. It has been an amazing journey as God has brought our lives together.

For my single friends, I have to say that it is worth the wait. I am so glad that I didn't settle for someone just because there were lonely days. I have no doubt that Adam is able to be the spiritual leader of our home, that he loves me, and that he loves God. I had reached a point in my life where I was really questioning whether I would ever find someone with those qualities, but I am so glad that God proved to me that He did have that person for me. There is so much more I could say about what God has taught me through this relationship as it has far exceeded any expectations I ever had, but I'd be here all night.

My head is still spinning and I'm pretty worn out and groggy from the past week which we spent in Michigan with my family, so I'll try to write more soon, but I couldn't wait any longer to post the news!
