Where Are The Fools?

How often do we have our lives so planned out that we completely take God out of the equation, not giving Him room to work, not expecting God to disrupt our plans? Just wondering...

I think one of my biggest struggles/challenges in my walk with Christ is not worrying about how others will perceive what I am doing. When I think about the way Christ lived his life, He certainly stood out from the crowd. How many Christians stand out from the crowd though? How many Christians are willing to be obedient to the call of God on their lives when it means it might make them stand out from the crowd and instead of others saying, "Wow, look at what a cool thing they're doing," people are saying, "They must be crazy." If we're to be fools for Christ, where are all the fools? (1 Corin 4:10)

1 Corinthians 1:27
But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong.

It's interesting isn't it that those who seem to actually hear from God are deemed the "crazy" ones? I wonder what would happen if we stopped rationalizing all of our decisions and just started saying, "I'm doing this because I think God wants me to"? It's hard to pray God lead me to decisions that others may even think are foolish isn't it?
